CONDITIONS

Current Major Conditions

  • Type 1 Diabetes — insulin-dependent, Dexcom G7 continuous monitor (left arm)
  • MPO-ANCA-associated vasculitis (MPO-AAV) — diagnosed Nov 2024 following kidney biopsy; heart, liver, kidney involvement. Liver markers normalised; heart and kidneys not yet fully normal.
  • Reduced kidney function — eGFR 39 mL/min, Creatinine 124 µmol/L (Mar 2026). No nephrotoxic medications.
  • Cardiac pacemaker (fitted 3 Sept 2024, Prof Richard Schilling) — following total heart block. MRI-conditional (PROPONENT MRI EL DR).
  • Epilepsy — controlled with Levetiracetam
  • Wegener's Granulomatosis (diagnosed 1998) — nose very fragile, two corrective operations; no nasal instrumentation
  • Scleroderma (diagnosed 1990) — in remission, limited mouth opening, flexed hands
  • Endometrial cancer (2012) — in remission after chemotherapy (Carboplatin & Paclitaxel, 6 cycles) and radiotherapy
  • Hypercholesterolaemia — Lipoprotein(a) elevated (genetic); Repatha (evolocumab) started April 2026
