TYPE 1 DIABETIC — insulin-dependent
DEXCOM G7 GLUCOSE MONITOR — on left arm
HEART PACEMAKER — PROPONENT MRI EL DR (card attached)
REDUCED KIDNEY FUNCTION — eGFR: 39 mL, Creatinine: 124 µmol/L (Mar 2026). No nephrotoxic medications.

INSULIN — ESSENTIAL: LANTUS (purple pen) 6 units ONCE daily ~23:00 London time, ESSENTIAL even without food. NOVORAPID (red pen) 1 unit per 10g carbs, WITH FOOD ONLY. Dexcom monitors glucose continuously — phone must stay within 5m. RISK OF COMA if NovoRapid given without monitoring.

Transmits glucose to Christina's watch, phone (in bag) and husband's phone every 5 min. Phone must stay within 5m. Sensor replaced every 10 days — "DEXCOM G7" app indicates when. Instructions in bag.

Sept 2024: Total heart block — pacemaker fitted 3/9

Sept–Oct: Left ear mastoiditis — grommet fitted 17/10

Nov 2024: Vasculitis diagnosed (heart, liver, kidney involvement)

Treatment: Cyclophosphamide (completed Jan 2025) + Rituximab (3 doses, last June 2025)

June 2025: CT lungs normal. MRI heart fine.

Current: Liver markers normalised. Heart and kidneys not yet normal.

MEDICAL HISTORY

Scleroderma (1990): In remission — limited mouth opening, flexed hands

Wegener's Granulomatosis (1998): In remission — fragile nose (2 operations)

Endometrial cancer (2012): In remission — chemo & radiotherapy

Seizures: Controlled by Levetiracetam

Type 1 Diabetes: Monitored by Dexcom, controlled by insulin
